a diet developed by a cardiologist for his patients to lose weight and learn how to eat the right combination of carbs

it's a 3 phase diet plan that teaches you how to avoid sugars and fats and learn how to eat the right combination of carbs.

i've been on it for 2 weeks now and have so far lost 8 pounds!! it's an easy diet to follow (you can google some awesome recipes online-just type in south beach diet recipes) and by the end of phase one-you no longer have the cravings for potato chips,cookies,candy,etc that you would with a normal diet

phase 1 is the hardest b/c you can't have any breads,pastas,bottled salad dressings,fruit,juice,butter,dairy (limit is 2 servings per day), or anything with sugar in it at all. this lasts for 2 weeks. you can make it longer if you want to lose more weight faster.

phase 2 is used until you reach the weight goal you want. you still can't have juice or sugared stuff but you can slowly add breads,pastas,fruits,etc back into your diet slowly-like adding bread once a week or a piece of fruit every few days.

phase 3 is a lifestyle change-this is the phase you should stay on permanently. i've only been on it for 2 weeks-start phase 2 tomorrow and alot has changed for me already. i no longer use butter to cook things on the stove (it's olive oil only), i eat sugar free jello,pudding,ice cream. i drink fat-free milk only (anything else tastes funny) or crystal light. i don't crave the sugar stuff like cookies and cake like before-it's great!!

i would recommend buying the south beach diet diner's guide and the south beach diet cookbook. they both cost about 15.00 each but well worth it. the diner's guide tells you what you can order for each phase of the diet at most local restaraunts.

Doing sporting events(even mild sporting events like jogging a bit of) enchances the outcome of any vitamin immensely. How so much pastime do you wish to have? It all is dependent an a)how so much weight you wish to free b)your precise recreation stage c)how so much pastime are you inclined to do.
