1. do cardio every day

2. cut food for the 4 hours before sleep

3. try to get less Pepsi and coke

4. do core exercise as they stretch the belly part and help lose belly fat

5. skip crunches ; they only build abs muscles but don't cut fat (but some ab muscle can boost your metabolism)

6. drink tons of water they will make you feel full

7. cut carbs and replace them with whole grain food.

8. try to calculate your income and outcome of calories and as long as your outcome is more than your income then you will lose weight .

NOTE : losing 10 lbs a week isn't a great idea because the faster weight loss is the more muscle you will lose. so i think 10 lbs a week will make you lose muscles more than fat, 2-4 pounds a week will be very good and you will really reach your goal if you stick to the above tips.

Have 7 lbs of excess water weight...

You're not going to lose 10 lbs of fat in 1 week...1 - 2 is typical, and 3 is doable but takes a lot of work...10 is unrealistic...you'd need 3 - 4 wks to drop 10 lbs of fat...
