I'm A Cumpulsive Overeater/ Bulimia - Will A Outpatient Therapy Work? If Not, I Am Thinking Of Lapband Too.?

Try outpatient therapy first, unless the bulimia is at the point of causing tooth decay and stuff. It'll be easier on you. Regulating your meals every day, and not eating more than a prescribed amount, may help. Precooked meals, like in individual packaging and parceled out for each day, is a good way to regulate what you eat.

If you tell your outpatient therapist that you want to lose weight, just not through bulimia, they will set you up with a healthy way to gradually lose weight down to a healthy level (they won't let you go beyond that, though). They may also arrange a good exercise regimen for you. They won't force you to stay at an unhealthy weight just to stop the bulimia.
