Genetical Or Is Thr Any Way Out?

Postby Gulab » Sat Apr 08, 2017 7:47 pm

OK. Actually this is a family question. My grandmom has this big lump of flesh jus protruding above the wrist like a swelling. She also has this line near the inner side of the elbow and very loose skin near the shoulders. Now my mom is getting the same features. And I have the same line near my inner side of the elbow but none of the others since I guess I'm too young fr that. Is there any exercise, surgical or non-surgical treatments to get rid of this?

u have to consult a skin specialist who can give u right answers, better do skin test and find out what the doc has to say about this , do look into it as soon as possible to clear ur doubt, things can be favourable to u whether it is genetic or otherwise, there is always nothing to worry at all, the doc may help u out faster than u think.

Gene's love them- uggh. Genetics's have their way that is for sure. The best thing you can do is prevention. Meaning treat your body well. Keep your body weight under control. Stay a normal weight for your height. Keep your skin healthy. Moisturize it as often as possible. Do not continuously go into the Sun unprotected. Sounds like to me, that Mom and Grandmom follow suit in weight gain, weight loss. I may be wrong. But when you reach a point in weight gain/loss the skin loses its ability to snap back. So it eventually hangs. It is due to the breakdown of the elasticity and its really damage.

The key to healthy skin when your young - Prevention. You are aware and see what you do not want. Stay on top of it and maintain what you have. You however cannot fight Genes. You can though recognize the mistakes *without pointing fingers* of others and see what came of them.

Hello- this growth could be a genetic trait or simply due to environmental factors.

If it is due to genetics the traits still have a chance of not showing up, so do not stress about them. Your line seems to be a scar tissue, so if you are often subjected to heat in that area or if you have been cut there before, that is the cause of the line on your generation. Also, limit over exposure to any harsh environments, such as extreme cold, bright sunshine, or any other extreme factors.

The sagging flesh around the shoulders, if you develop it can be fixed my laser treatment. This would tighten the skin cells to give the skin more resonance. These traits all could be taken care of by a plastic surgeon for vanity reasons, but if you feel like this may be an issue with your skin, then the best advice would be to see a dermatologist to diagnose the problem.

p.s. over exposure to the sun is a huge factor in your skin as you grow older, so limit your time in the sun's rays, and if you do go out, always wear a high spf. Don't worry much, it might just be the way you were built!
