I have Extreme cellulite on my but and thighs. Very embarrassing.
I can't wear shorts, skirts or even leggings.
I'm 5 foot 4 and 56 kg. I have tried exercise and nothing seems to be working. I'm only young not even in my twenties and I don't think I will ever be able to wear a swim suit or shorts in my life again. It's really upsetting. I also have severe stretch marks.
I don't know what I can do and I can't afford cosmetic surgical treatments. It's effecting my daily life and I feel ugly, and disgusting. If anyone has medical knowledge of a proven way that I can get rid of this problem I will be very thankful. I don't want any tips that are not medically accepted. Does loosing weight work? Thanks.

Cellulite is a common and unwanted affliction for females. Those skin dimples appear around the thighs for several reasons, including a buildup of toxins, water retention and extra pounds. While cellulite has no easy fix, there are effective ways to reduce its appearance and smooth the skin.

Burn extra body fat. Reduce the number of fat cells in your body to help reduce cellulite on the thighs. Choose low-fat foods such as vegetables, fruits, fish and turkey. Incorporate at least 30 minutes of cardiovascular workouts daily, including jogging, biking or aerobics, to burn and reduce body weight.

Exercise your lower body. Toning exercises targeting the lower body can strengthen the thigh muscles and reduce the appearance of cellulite. Join a Pilates class, which features lower body exercises such as leg circles and leg lifts. Perform squats and lunges to smooth and tone the thighs.

Drink more water to eliminate fluid retention. Body fat isn't the only cause of cellulite. Fluid retention due to medications, excess sodium intake or lack of fluids can trap water in tissues and trigger cellulite in the thighs. Drink 8 glasses of water a day and reduce your salt intake --- no more than 2,300 mg daily --- to fight fluid retention.

Massage your thighs. Using a bristle skin brush in a circular motion, massage your thighs daily to increase blood circulation and remove toxins that may promote cellulite.

Unfortunately, 1 in 4 women over the age of 20 have cellulite. There is not way to get rid of it. I know!! I work out and drink alot of water. I am on the thin side 5'6" 120 lbs. Does'nt matter if you lose weight. I tried every cream on the market. Even liposucion does not get rid of it completely. I do find if I get a spray tan, it helps minimize it. Try a self tanner.
